Consumer REGO Retirement Process

Retire matched REGOs to officially claim renewable energy usage for a selected period.

1. Ensure you have received REGOs after your requests have been approved.

2. Log in to your PATtech account as a Consumer.

3. From the left navigation menu, go to REGOs.

4. Click on the Matched tab.

5. Select the relevant period(s) by checking the corresponding checkboxes.

6. Review the selected REGOs.

7. Click the Retire Selected button located at the bottom-right corner.

8. Confirm the retirement action.

What Happens Next

1. The selected REGOs will be retired.

2. Retired REGOs:
   • Can no longer be transferred or reused
   • Are marked as consumed for reporting purposes
3. Retirement records will be available for:
   • Compliance reporting
   • Audit and verification

• Retirement is a final action and cannot be reversed.
• Ensure correct periods are selected before confirming.
• Retired REGOs contribute to your verified renewable energy claims.
