Create PPA

Create a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) to allocate generated energy to a connected counterparty over a defined period.

Steps to Create a PPA

1. Log in to your PATtech account as a Generator.

2. From the left navigation menu, click PPA.

3. Click the Create PPA button.

4. Select the Counterparty you want to assign the PPA to.

   Note: The counterparty must already be connected and approved.

5. Select the Generation Source:
   • Choose either a Generation Type or a specific Asset.
6. Select the Date Range for the PPA:
   • Start Date
   • End Date

7. Select the Amount Type (e.g., percentage or fixed allocation).

8. Enter the Amount based on the selected type.

9. Review the PPA details.

10. Click Create PPA to submit.

What Happens Next

1. The selected counterparty will receive the PPA request.

2. The counterparty must approve the PPA.

3. Once approved:
   • The PPA becomes active.
   • Energy will begin transferring automatically according to the defined rules.
4. The PPA will remain active for the selected duration unless modified or terminated.
