Request REGOs

Create a REGO request based on your consumption data to receive certified renewable energy allocations.

Steps to Request REGOs

1. Ensure your consumption data is uploaded to the system.

2. From the left navigation menu, go to REGOs.

3. Click on the Requests submenu.

4. Click the Create a REGO Request button located at the bottom-right corner.

5. Choose the data source:
   • Select Use Uploaded Consumption Data if your data is already available.

   OR

   • Upload a new consumption file if not already uploaded.

6. Select the Consumption Period (date range).

7. Select the relevant ICP.

8. Set your Preferences (optional but recommended):
   • Preferred Generator/Reseller
   • Preferred Generation Type (e.g., solar, wind, hydro)
   • Specific Assets (if applicable)

9. Review the request details.

10. Click Submit Request.

What Happens Next

1. The REGO request will be sent to eligible Generator/Reseller.

2. Generator/Reseller can review and approve or decline the request.

3. Once approved:
   • REGOs will be allocated based on your consumption.
   • Transactions will be recorded in the Transactions page.
4. You can track the request status under the Requests tab.

Important Notes

• Ensure consumption data is accurate before creating a request.
• Preferences help optimise matching but may affect availability.
• Requests remain pending until approved by a Generator.
